The Cybersecurity Awareness with Hands-on course builds on foundational cybersecurity knowledge and equips participants with practical skills to recognize, analyse, and respond to common cyber threats. Through interactive exercises, simulations, and case studies, learners gain hands-on experience in identifying phishing emails, malicious links, and social engineering attacks, while applying secure practices across devices, office applications, and online platforms. The course provides practical exposure to essential security technologies, including antivirus software, firewalls, VPNs, password managers, and multi-factor authentication. By the end of the course, participants will be able to apply cybersecurity best practices in realistic situations, implement protective measures effectively, and contribute to a culture of cybersecurity awareness within personal and organizational environments.

Apply cybersecurity knowledge in realistic personal and workplace scenarios.
Identify, analyse, and respond to common cyber threats and suspicious activities.
Recognize phishing attempts, malicious links, and social engineering techniques.

Apply safe digital practices to protect devices, accounts, and information.
Recognize security incidents and follow appropriate reporting and escalation procedures.
Promote cybersecurity awareness and responsible security behaviour within personal and organizational contexts.

Pré-requisitos

Completion of the introductory Cybersecurity Awareness course or an equivalent course covering similar content.
Basic knowledge of operating systems and common computing environments.
Proficiency in using internet tools and communication platforms, including web browsers and e-mail clients.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and general digital literacy concepts.
