- Recognize common cyber threats, including malware, phishing, ransomware, and social engineering attacks.
- Apply secure password practices and multi-factor authentication to protect digital accounts.
- Follow safe online behaviour and system hygiene practices to reduce cybersecurity risks.
- Use fundamental security technologies, including antivirus software, firewalls, VPNs, and backup solutions.
- Protect personal and organizational information through privacy and data protection measures.
- Apply cybersecurity best practices when using workplace applications, communication tools, and office productivity software.
- Identify potential security incidents and respond appropriately through responsible and security-aware behaviour.
Prerequisites
- No prior cybersecurity knowledge is required.
- Basic understanding of the Microsoft Windows operating system.
- Familiarity with common Internet tools and communication platforms, including web browsers and email clients.
- Basic skills in using office productivity software, such as Microsoft Office (e.g., Word and Excel).
